Greatest Hope for HPS

I would like to see the impact on student learning in the elementary schools continue to improve as our district grows in our use and understanding of the PLC model. In turn, that the secondary schools will embrace the model that has shown such improved success in the elementary buildings and further implement it to improve student achievement.

Greatest Challenge for HPS 

Overcoming the cultural and socio-economic differences that our District's diversity has created and using it to build relationships beyond just the typical student-staff relationship. Instead, seeing individual student's strengths and weaknesses and bringing out the best in our children.
