Our mission is to support the Hastings Public Schools by securing needed resources to expand what is possible for students, staff, and the District.
Our vision is to seek resources for the Hastings Public Schools Foundation to:
+ enhance student learning
+ empower staff and faculty
+ celebrate achievements of students, faculty, and staff
+ increase awarness of the positive work of the HPS Foundation
+ create a network of outreach to alumni throughout the world, to citizens of the District, and to the Hastings area community

The HPS Foundation strives to meet the needs of students, which are beyond the resources of the Hastings Public Schools, through partial and/or full funding of strategies that enhance learning. Our goals include the following:
+ To assist in provding an enriched learning environment leading to excellence K-12
+ To assist in creating advanced course work that will better prepare students for college and/or careers 9-12
+ To assist in incorporating 21st century learning K-12
+ To assist in developing differentiated instruction and targeted enrichment programs K-8
+ To assist in providing foreign language experiences K-8
+ To assist in creating a cooperative partnership with other community institutions to establish a pre-school for children ages 3-5
Ways to help the Foundation expand the horizon of opportunity:
Membership
Make an investment in the Hastings Public Schools by becoming a member of the Hastings Public Schools Foundation at the highest membership level you can afford. Help the Foundation directly improve the learning environment in classrooms across the curriculum in the Hastings Public Schools.
Scholarships
Your scholarship gift can honor a teacher, mentor, a level of achievement in an academic, athletic, or extra-curricular discipline. There are countless ways to acknowledge your legacy and reward those individuals and institutions that have had a positive impact on the person you've become.
Endowments
A gift that never stops giving. An endowment is a permanent savings plan that spends on the interest produced by the account each year. Your contribution to the endowment fund is an opportunity to support the Foundation in their quest to assist in the development of innovative and creative classroom programs, scholarships, and teacher grants.
Memorials
Memorials bestow permanent honors to individuals who have made lifetime impressions on those they've served. Please consider establishing a memorial in tribute to someone who has made your life better.
