Lincoln Schools Nutrition Hero

Mattie Gatto, Lincoln Schools Food Service staff was recently awarded 2021 Nebraska School Nutrition Hero by the Nebraska Student Nutrition Action Committee, Mattie was nominated by Linda Shaw of the Hastings Public Schools.

Mattie always greets her kids with a smile and likes to get to know them. She takes pride in preparing something for special school events and on holidays.

Lincoln School kids really do appreciate the time she takes to get to know them, even when she is hustling around to make sure they are taking care of.
