**Penny War Alert!** 1-2-3-4, we declare a **PENNY WAR** at Longfellow Elementary!
**WHERE**: Main Hallway
**WHEN**: November 11 - November 20
**HOW TO PARTICIPATE**: Each grade has its coin jug in the main hallway by the office.
**Add Points** : Put **pennies and dollar bills** in *your grade’s jug*.
**Subtract Points**Drop **nickels, dimes, or quarters** in *other grades’ jugs*!
**POINT SYSTEM**
**Adding Points**:
1 penny = +1 point
$1 bill = +100 points
$5 bill = +500 points
$10 bill = +1,000 points
**Subtracting Points**:
Nickel = -5 points
Dime = -10 points
Quarter = -25 points
The grade with the most points gets to *PIE MISS TUCKER* and will be announced at our assembly on **November 22, 2024**!
