What is a Quiz Bowl? A Quiz Bowl is a competitive academic activity in which teams of students answer questions on various subjects, such as history, literature, science, math, pop culture, and current events. It typically follows a buzzer-based format, where teams or individuals race to buzz in and answer questions before their opponents. The game is fast-paced and rewards knowledge, quick thinking, and teamwork. Schools and academic organizations often participate in Quiz Bowl competitions at the local, state, and national levels.
