Red Ribbon Week
October 23–31

Red Ribbon Week --Drug Free starts with me!

This week, we join together to celebrate healthy choices and drug-free living. Red Ribbon Week is a time to remind ourselves how important it is to make safe, positive decisions for our future. Let’s show our commitment by wearing red and participating in the fun activities planned throughout the week! Together, we can make healthy choices that help us grow strong, confident, and ready for success.

Longfellow Elementary School will celebrate National Red Ribbon Week this month, October 27th - October 30th. Our theme this year is "Life is a puzzle; solve it DRUG FREE." During the week we will emphasize the importance of making healthy choices and saying no to drugs. We hope to show all of our students the positive benefits of staying drug-free. We appreciate parent/guardian help in our efforts to keep our children safe from unhealthy influences. The celebration will include daily themes for all to participate in. Thank you for taking the time to inform your student about the dangers that drugs create in our community and in our lives. Your words are very powerful.
