School Profile--HHS is a public, four-year comprehensive high school located in Hastings, NE. Hastings is located in a rural setting close to the Platte River in south-central Nebraska.
Hastings Senior High serves approximately 1,000 students in grades nine through twelve. The Senior High's academic, Career & Technical Education, special education, English Language Learner, alternative education, and activity programs provide all students with opportunities to participate and excel. In the traditional curriculum, students have the opportunity to enroll in honors & advanced placement courses. Hastings Senior High School also collaborates with post-secondary institutions to provide dual credit and career pathway options. Through special education programming, Hastings Senior High provides services to qualifying students through the age of 21. This includes the Project Search program in coordination with Educational Service Unit #9 and Mary Lanning Memorial Healthcare. All programs are focused on providing students with the skills, knowledge, and behaviors to be productive citizens and lifelong learners.
