Letter from our school nurse:
Summer 2026
Dear HHS Families,
Letters have been sent to the address on file for students that are missing immunization records. Please complete immunization requirements, & send a completed record to the HHS nurse.
For students that have medical conditions, letters have been sent. They need to be completed & returned to the HHS nurse. (i.e. asthma, diabetes, seizures, & allergies requiring Epipen use) If the condition is no longer a concern, contact your doctor to send a letter of removal to the HHS nurse.
Procedure change: Students will no longer be medically excused from school to change clothes. Students need to be prepared for school, clothing & supplies in the event of an accident. Please make sure your student comes prepared for school.
The school nurse will be at Open House if further information is needed.

HEALTH PLANS
All students with a medical diagnosis of asthma, seizures, diabetes or other significant health issue are reminded to turn in their Action Plan to the nurse. If you need an Action Plan form please see the nurse. If a parent chooses to have their student manage their own health issue a Self-management form needs to be completed. This form is also available from the nurse.
MEDICATIONS
Per the medication policy students are not to have any prescription or over the counter medications in their possession. If a student needs to carry/use an inhaler, EpiPen or other medication while at school they need to see the nurse so proper documentation can be completed.
