Lincoln Field Trip

Today the fourth graders got to go on a little adventure.  Their day started by getting up at 6:45 AM  and coming to school. They loaded the buses and headed towards Lincoln. the first stop was the State Capital. The students would learn about Nebraska's government and the building itself at the State Capitol. He also experiences a variety of artwork in and around the capital. To the capital, it was a short walk to where we were going to have lunch. Lunch was provided by the Ag Sack Lunch Program, where UNL students talked about the importance of Nebraska agriculture. After lunch, we headed our way to Morrill Hall Museum. At the museum students learned the natural history of Nebraska. The day was filled with lots of Nebraska knowledge and a fun field trip they will never forget.
