Greatest Hope for HPS
- Providing students with a well-rounded and historically accurate education that engages students and teaches them to be independent thinkers and future leaders in our community
- Allow students the opportunity to participate in quality extra-curricular activities ranging from the Fine Arts, to athletics and everything in between, according to their interests
Greatest Challenge for HPS
- Increasing parent involvement in their child’s education
- Recruiting and retaining quality teachers
- Protecting our students from false and “trendy” ideologies of the culture and focusing on the core academics of reading, writing and arithmetic
- Longterm financial sustainability and stewardship
- Teach our students “How to think,” NOT “What to think” thereby setting our students up for success as critical thinkers and contributors in society
