Greatest Hope for HPS
Providing students with a well-rounded and historically accurate education that engages students and teaches them to be independent thinkers and future leaders in our community
Allow students the opportunity to participate in quality extra-curricular activities ranging from the Fine Arts, to athletics and everything in between, according to their interests
Greatest Challenge for HPS
Increasing parent involvement in their child’s education
Recruiting and retaining quality teachers
Protecting our students from false and “trendy” ideologies of the culture and focusing on the core academics of reading, writing and arithmetic
Longterm financial sustainability and stewardship
Teach our students “How to think,” NOT “What to think” thereby setting our students up for success as critical thinkers and contributors in society
