Elementary In-District Transfer Application

If you want your student to attend a different elementary building than your area home school, you will need to complete an In-District transfer request. In order for the transfer to be considered, the request needs to be completed by July 15th, 2024.

Beginning with the 2018-19 school year, submitted on-line transfer requests, are recognized as continuing unless otherwise revoked by the Superintendent. Therefore, the transfer of your student will, in almost all cases, be for the duration of their elementary experience. Unless otherwise determined by the Superintendent, you will not need to complete a new transfer request unless you seek to transfer to yet another building. As always, transfers will be subject to annual review by the Superintendent and will be granted or revoked depending on overcrowding, special programming, attendance or
behavior considerations.

Each year new students, those entering Kindergarten, and those wishing to transfer to another elementary building, will be required to fill out an application for transfer if they wish to transfer from his or her most recently designated attendance area.

Decisions on In-District Transfers will be made at the end of July/beginning of August. Parents will receive an email or phone call with decision at that time.

Si desea que su estudiante asista a un edificio de primaria diferente a la escuela de su área, deberá completar una solicitud de transferencia dentro del distrito. Para que se considere la transferencia, la solicitud debe completarse antes del 15 de julio de 2024.

A partir del año escolar 2018-19, las solicitudes de transferencia presentadas en línea se reconocen como continuas a menos que el Superintendente las revoque de otra manera. Por lo tanto, la transferencia de su estudiante será, en casi todos los casos, por la duración de su experiencia primaria. A menos que el Superintendente determine lo contrario, no necesitará completar una nueva solicitud de transferencia a menos que desee transferirse a otro edificio. Cada año, los estudiantes nuevos, los que ingresan al jardín de infantes y los que desean transferirse a otro edificio de primaria deberán completar una solicitud de transferencia si desean transferirse desde su área de asistencia designada más recientemente.

Las decisiones sobre transferencias dentro del distrito se tomarán a finales de julio o principios de agosto. Los padres recibirán un correo electrónico o una llamada telefónica con la decisión en ese momento.
