CoGAT Testing stands for Cognitive Abilities Test.
It is a test that measures how students think, reason, and solve problems rather than what they have learned in the classroom.
November 16 - 20 --3rd Grade Testing Week
It evaluates three areas:
Verbal Reasoning – Understanding words, relationships, and language.
Quantitative Reasoning – Recognizing number patterns and solving math-related problems.
Non-verbal Reasoning – Identifying patterns, shapes, and visual relationships.
Best of luck to our 3rd Grade Leopards during CoGAT testing! Show what you know, do your best, and let your thinking shine!
