Community Flyer Distribution
Hastings Public Schools assists community organizations by distributing approved informational materials to students. All materials must be approved by the Office of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment before they can be distributed.
How to Submit Materials
Submit your flyer for approval by either:
- Submitting the flyer via this HPS Flyer / Community Material Distribution Request.
(Due to flyer submission, a Google Login is required. If you do not have a Google account, email kristen.slechta@hpstigers.org directly.) - Delivering it to the District Administration Office at 1515 W. 8th Street, Hastings, NE, or
- Emailing it to the Office of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.
Please do not deliver flyers directly to individual school buildings.
Approval Decisions
Materials will receive one of the following decisions:
- Full Distribution
- Materials may be handed directly to every student or placed in student folders.
- Limited Distribution
- Materials are available in the school's main office for students to pick up voluntarily.
- Not Approved
- Materials may not be distributed through Hastings Public Schools.
After Approval
Once approved, your flyer will be stamped and returned so your organization can make copies.
Please return the approved copies to the District Administration Office, organized by school and grade level (if applicable). The District will distribute the materials through the campus mail system.
Distribution by School Level
- Elementary Schools: Approved flyers for Full Distribution may be sent home with every student.
- Hastings Middle School: Flyers are available in the main office for students to pick up.
- Hastings Senior High School: Flyers are available in the main office for students to pick up.
Enrollment numbers for elementary schools and grade levels are available by contacting the Office of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.
