2024 Eclipse

Watson Parents,
On Monday Apr 8, 2024 Hastings will experience a partial solar eclipse. Our science classes are discussing this and we plan to go outside and view this event from 1:40-2:00. We are providing eclipse viewing glasses for each student and staff member but we also understand that you may wish to opt your child out of this viewing. If that is the case, please return the opt-out sheet that is being sent home. Students that opt out will stay indoors and complete alternate activities. We wanted to provide this opportunity for our students but also value the decisions you make about whether to have your child participate. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out.
